Breedlove Atlas Series Stage Black Magic C25 Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar Black

The new Stage Black Magic C25 is for serious performers looking for the best acoustic-electric stage guitar available. The black glossy & abalone aesthetic is a powerful statement on stage. The all new LR Bagg’s Stage Pro pickup has an onboard EQ, volume control, notch, filter and a stealthy chromatic tuner with in-line mute function for perfect silence between sets. Acoustically the guitar is extremely sophisticated, balanced, and designed for sustain. Enjoy Kim Breedlove’s all-new Stage inlay pattern.

This guitar played better than a number of other black acoustic guitars with bigger brand names ( G’s and T’s ) for less money!

The acoustic sound is very good, as good as some acoustic electrics that cost up to $500 more. It has excellent definition with a bright clear tone. The amplified sound with the Baggs pickup system really shines. Very true acoustic tone when plugged in. The neck isn’t too wide, so it can be a comfortable switch from electrics. The onboard tuner is very handy.

I’ve play many black acoustic guitars in this price area and considerably above, and would definitely say this instrument is amazing for the price. If you are looking to for a $2k+ guitar with a $1k budget this should definitely be bought. Breedlove has a great web site and forum too!

  • This guitar is awsome. It looks killer, although mine did not come with the widow headstock, but not a big deal for me because it still looks cool. I read in some reviews it has bad pickups but I can’t say I’d agree. The guitar sounds great with my little 10w Marshal Amp so I don’t think the pickups are as bad as some people say. The best part of this guitar besides it’s looks is the price. I paid $200 for it here and you’d be hard pressed to find a guitar as good for that price range. I’d definetly recommend this too anyone wanting to begin learning guitar or even a veteran guitar player on a tight budget. Yes, It’s that good.

  • I bought a black one to leave in the trunk while I was at work, in case the guys called for a practice session, so I wouldn’t have to go all the way home to pick up my gear.

  • The Black guitar looks wonderful. I kept the poster on my wall and marked it. But The strings sounded softly and it was out tuned (duh). I accidentally Broke a string which i wounded up too much with the head and broke another trying to replace (even with reading the instructions). So since that didn’t work I will have to go to the music store and get a new string (E-1). I will have to get my Dad to do it this time.
